Mt Gambier

Franklin has been helping out at the hospital in Mt Gambier for the past couple of weeks. It's about a 5 hour drive (300+ miles) from Adelaide.

So, "Have sewing machine - will travel!"

On Australia Day, when it was hot-hot, we had some free-time to visit the beautiful little Laughton Park - irrigated from below with the most pristine water.

We also found the Blue Lake, for which Mt Gambier is famous, to be true to its name! Stunning!
