Some of you know my mother, who will be 99 next month. I've mentioned her here before.
Last Saturday she had a nasty episode of AF. However - thankfully - after a few "rough" hours she was comfortable again. I just hated to see her in distress.
Since then there have been some special moments:
*I applied some fragrance to one wrist on Sunday, and she rubbed her 2 wrists together to spread her joy! She has always enjoyed lovely perfumes.
*This morning, I am told, she greeted her carer with "Did you sleep well?"
*And later this morning she contributed 3 words to a hymn that I was singing to her. She hasn't attempted to sing for many months.
It's not an easy road for her, but she's doing her best! Bless her little heart!
