Karen phoned after dinner this evening, with a "Listen to this"!
Meshach (9) on cello, and Josiah (7) on violin, were playing a little Bach duet - accompanied by a backing CD. What a great sound!
As we only live a few minutes away by car, I zipped around to have a "live listen", by which time Josiah had moved on to "Go tell Aunt Rhody". I wonder how many young musos have cut their teeth on that tune. The boys were only too pleased to revisit their duet for "Gummin". Nice! I do hope they go on to have as much fun playing duets together as my brother and I did!
